New 3 News online show aims to explain the basics of politics
Today 3news.co.nz launched its new weekly online series Let’s Get Political.
Presented by political reporter and press gallery member Tova O’Brien, the programme aims to educate and entertain an
audience who haven’t yet engaged fully with New Zealand politics.
The show’s producer, Dan Lake says he wants the show to get more people involved in political discussion.
“I think there are a lot of people who avoid politics because they don’t have a full understanding of the basics. My
hope is that this show can help change that and inform them in an entertaining way.”
Let’s Get Political forms part of TV3’s Decision 14 election coverage and will be online every Friday until the general
