It’s About Our People
The InternetMANA roadshow has been through Te Tai Tokerau filling halls, however the whanau and hapu are still unsure
about Kim Dotcom and the Internet Party.
Comments from whanau support claims made by Kelvin Davis this week, the comments range from,
"Support the Mana Party but dont trust Dotcom and the Internet Party"
,
"Dotcom shouldnt be using our electorate seat as an insurance policy for his multi million dollar investment in the
Internet Party"
"Not sure how to support the Mana Party without supporting the Internet Party"
"Support Hone but dont like Dotcom and the Internet Party"
"What has Dotcom done here in Te Tai Tokerau"
"Both Hone and Kelvin have their supporters in the electorate, this is backed up by Labour and the Mana Party accounting
for 59% of the party vote in 2011. Our people are wanting our politicians to work together to improve their daily lives"
said Mr Dearlove.
and
"It seems that there are party politics at play on both sides of this current argument. ".
"Furthermore our people understand that Hone has to spend alot of time out of the electorate and Parliament because of
his duties as the leader of a national movement. While Kelvin has to represent and follow the Labour party" said Mr
Dearlove.
Mr Dearlove went on to say finally "That is why adding an independent voice in Te Tai Tokerau at this election shall
make sure our peoples voices are always heard. We have an opportunity to have three Maori MPs here in Te Tai Tokerau if
we use our votes strategically in this election."
and
"We are looking forward to supporting both Hone and Kelvin in the next Parliament to deliver actual improvements for our
people here in Te Tai Tokerau. Together building healthy communities".
