New ACC Executive appointments announced
ACC Chief Executive Scott Pickering today announced appointments to the ACC Executive Team effective from 1 September.
The new Executive, which contains new roles and responsibilities, contains five members of the existing Executive and two new appointments.
The new Executive Team is:
• Chief Operating Officer: Jim Stabback
• Chief Governance & Strategy Officer: Gaye Searancke
• Chief Customer Officer : Sid Miller
• Chief Financial Officer: Mark Dossor
• Chief Risk & Actuarial Officer: Herwig Raubal
• Chief Talent Officer: Debbie Barrott
• Chief Transformation Officer: Phil Riley
“The creation of a new Executive structure is part of a wider business transformation of ACC to provide a substantial improvement in the service we provide to New Zealanders,” Mr Pickering says.
“We need to ensure we constantly look through the eyes of our customers and deliver efficient and effective services that rebuild the public’s trust and confidence in ACC. The roles and responsibilities in the new Executive have been structured with that firmly in mind.
“Specifically, I have created the new role of Chief Customer Officer to ensure ACC always has the customer’s ‘voice’ at the Executive level and that meeting their needs is a priority.”
Jim Stabback, until recently the Chief Operating Officer for Westpac New Zealand, and Gaye Searancke, Deputy Chief Executive Labour and Commercial Environment Group at the Ministry of Business Innovation and Employment, are the new appointments to ACC.
“Jim and Gaye’s skills and experience in leading customer-focused transformation projects and large teams will be invaluable to our organisation,” Mr Pickering says. “I’m delighted to have them joining us.”
Mr Stabback joins ACC on 18 August and Ms Searancke on 15 September. An acting Chief Governance & Strategy Officer will be in place until Ms Searancke’s arrival.
