UnitedFuture candidates announced
UnitedFuture leader Peter Dunne has announced the first group of UnitedFuture electorate candidates for this year’s
General Election.
The candidates are:
Damian Light, a KiwiRail Manager in Northcote.
Bryan Mockridge, an IT Service Manager in Maungakiekie.
Ram Parkash, a self-employed business owner and former Deputy Principal in Botany.
Quentin Todd, an independent foreign policy analyst in Hamilton East
Alan Simmons, professional fishing guide and owner of the popular fishnhunt.co.nz website in Taupō.
Sultan Eusoff, Chief Executive of the Federation of Islamic Associations of New Zealand in Rongotai.
Dave Stonyer, self-employed and President of the National Speakers Association of New Zealand in Hutt South.
UnitedFuture has already Mr Dunne will be standing again in his Ohariu seat.
Mr Dunne says, “This group of candidates represents a wide range of backgrounds and experiences in business and
community services, and all have the capacity to make a very effective contribution to Parliament.
“I am very pleased at their selection.
“Most are experienced Parliamentary and local body candidates who will acquit themselves well,” he says.
Mr Dunne says further candidates will be announced over the next few weeks as their selection process is confirmed by
the UnitedFuture Board.
UnitedFuture’s candidate list-ranking process will be completed separately over the next few weeks.
