Green crusaders fight for sustainability
The Green Living Show and NZ Organic Natural Expo announces a blockbuster lineup of speakers, including two super-guests
who are leading the fight against unsustainable practices in retail – New Zealand’s Organic Crusader and the EcoWoman.
New World Remuera owner Adrian Barkla, crusader for more organic produce in supermarkets, together with ‘EcoWoman’,
Belinda Robinson, owner of natural cleaning range ‘ecobasik’, will headline the event at Auckland’s ASB Showgrounds on
5th and 6th July.
Green Living Show CEO, Tina Raines says both speakers are huge drawcards for Kiwis who are passionate about sustainable
living.
“Adrian and Belinda are two of New Zealand’s most prominent up-and-comers in the world of sustainability. They build
their business models around products that are healthy and sustainable, and work hard to give those products price
parity to ensure environmentally sustainable solutions are affordable for all New Zealanders.”
The show will be the first chance for eco-minded Kiwis to hear from these two leaders in sustainability, with this
year’s event marking the first public seminar for both.
This year’s Green Living Show – the biggest in the event’s four year history – is also promising more exhibitors than
ever before, as well as a bigger range of innovative eco-friendly products.
This will be the first showing for sustainable shoe brand Piccadilly, as well as a chance for event goers to get up
close and personal with electric cars from five of the world’s leading car manufacturers.
“The Green Living Show encompasses all aspects of green living,” says Mrs. Raines.
“Whether it’s finding out how to realise energy efficiencies in your home or office, sourcing the latest organic
products, or getting advice on sustainability in anything from beauty to home renovation, the Green Living Show has
something for everyone.”
