David Wilson selected for Northland
Paparoa resident David Wilson has been selected to stand in the Northland electorate for the Democrats for Social Credit
Party (DSC) at this year’s general election.
“I’m concerned about the economic decline of the Northland region which now sits at the bottom of the ASB’s Economic
Scoreboard.
“This electorate has been neglected by governments for decades because it’s been considered a safe blue seat. I plan to
shake things up and change that. I want a better deal for Northland people. We need more jobs, decent housing, and
better access to healthcare.
“Northland needs a parliamentary representative who’ll speak up against selling our assets, who’ll fight for funding to
rebuild the region’s economy, and who understands the pressures faced by disadvantaged locals.”
A former Party president, Mr Wilson is determined to empower Kiwis by establishing a social credit economy and has
worked towards this goal for many years.
As the owner/operator of a successful transport business, he has first-hand knowledge of all aspects of the transport
sector.
“I support introducing a full fuel tax to replace all road user charges, including vehicle registration. A fuel tax
would be cheaper overall for private motorists, would reduce administration costs for businesses, and would stop
evasion.”
David Wilson is the Democrats for Social Credit Party’s Transport spokesman.
