ALCP Launch Election Campaign on May 3rd!
The campaign launch for the Aotearoa Legalise Cannabis Party will be held during annual J-Day celebrations on May 3rd.
Cannabis supporters will be gathering around the country to rally against New Zealand's cannabis prohibition laws.
ALCP candidates and representatives will be speaking at the J-Day events and officially launching the party's bid for Parliament.
"We are a more serious contender now than we ever have been in the past, with new leadership and a new team," Leader Julian Crawford said.
"ALCP policy is getting a lot of positive attention following the success of a regulated market in Colorado and the difficulties of synthetics products in New Zealand."
Supporters can attend J-Day and the campaign launch at the Octagon in Dunedin, Frank Kitts Park in Wellington, Albert Park in Auckland and a number of other centres around the country.
"We will be introducing some of our candidates and making some key policy announcements," Mr Crawford said.
