Call for Abstracts for Tū Kaha Health Conference 2014 are now open!
The Tū Kaha 2014 Conference Committee invites speakers to submit abstracts for presentation at this year’s biennial conference. The conference will be held in Hastings at the Hawke’s Bay Racing Centre from the 29th – 31st of October.
This year’s conference is entitled Te ahuareka o te Karamu: Sustainable solutions to accelerated improvements in Māori health outcomes.
The theme expresses the committees desire to build on the strengths of the Māori health network and to promote sustainable and effective solutions to improving Māori health outcomes.
Since 2008, Tu Kaha has been the biennial conference for Māori health in the Central District Health Board Region.
“We are keen to hear Māori health success stories”, said conference chairman Riki Nia Nia. “We are looking for speakers to share innovative ideas, practical approaches and solutions or achievements relating to improving Māori health”.
Submissions are sought for oral and poster presentations.
The deadline is 5pm 30th June. Abstracts are submitted on line at www.tukaha2014.co.nz
