Campbell Live Is ‘At Home’ With John and Bronagh Key - 7pm Monday
Campbell Live kicks off its election coverage tomorrow, with the first in a new series At Home With The Leaders that will give New Zealanders a different perspective on the political leaders asking for their votes in the upcoming General Election.
This week, Prime Minister John Key is behind the barbecue as he and wife Bronagh host John Campbell at their home for brunch.
In a half hour special, screening Monday 7 April, Key talks about dreaming as a 12-year-old of becoming Prime Minister, and reminisces about taking Bronagh to the dodgems for their first date at the age of 16.
Key discusses the economy, welfare dependency and what he needs to do to win this September's election. He talks about his friendship with US President Barack Obama, and what he thinks of Kim Dotcom and Hone Harawira.
He and Bronagh share insights into their children, Stephanie and Max, and talk about their monthly date nights, and what they do in their rare spare time.
The At Home With The Leaders specials are part of TV3’s Decision ’14 coverage.
