Roy Morgan result excludes Cannabis Party

MEDIA RELEASE - 23/3/14
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
The Aotearoa Legalise Cannabis Party could already be on 1% of the vote according to the latest Roy Morgan poll.
However, ALCP leader Julian Crawford said it was disappointing to be lumped into the 'Others' section of the results.
"I would like to see a detailed breakdown of the 'Others' results because we believe much of that support could be going to ALCP," Mr Crawford said.
"I find it hard to believe that Social Credit, Alliance or FocusNZ contribute significantly to that figure."
ALCP has asked Roy Morgan Research to include the ALCP as a stand alone party in future results.
Especially since the results showed other parties individually, even if they were on 0%.
ALCP has been registered since 1996 and has serious Parliamentary ambitions, Mr Crawford said.
"We are disappointed to see this bias against our party but we shall continue to fight for equal rights for all New Zealanders."
