Ka pōhiritia te hui ā-motu ka tū ai ki Tūrangawaewae a te Paenga-whāwhā ki te āwhina i a mātau, ā, ka pērā i tā matau i whāia i ngā tau o mua, ka whakawhitiwhiti kōrero ki ngā whānau ki te whakatau i ngā whakahoutanga.

Te Kōhanga Reo National Trust Board (TKRNTB) will fast track the work it commenced to set the direction and organisation needed to take Te Kōhanga Reo kaupapa forward. This will include the makeup and membership of the Board. We will call on the national hui at Tūrangawaewae in April to assist us and, as in the past, engage with our kōhanga whānau to make changes. TKRNTB and Te Pātaka Ōhanga (TPO) will fully co-operate with the Serious Fraud Office as well as the other investigations being carried out by the Department of Internal Affairs and the controlled review by KPMG. We confirm the Directors of TPO are:
Dame Iritana Tāwhiwhirangi. Mrs Druis Barrett, Dr Wharehuia Milroy, Mr Tukoirirangi Morgan and Mr Tata Parata.
