Last two Sea Shepherd ships set to return from longest Antarctic anti-whaling campaign ever
21st March, 2014 – Hobart, Australia and Wellington, New Zealand:
The last two Sea Shepherd ships will return on Saturday to land after completing the longest ever Antarctic anti-whaling
campaign, Operation Relentless. After spending more than 90 days at sea and enduring the most agreesive attacks from
Japanese whalers in the ten year campaign history, the Bob Barker and the Steve irwin and their crew arrive in Hobart and Wellington tomorrow. Once again Sea Shepherd's frontline defence of the great
whales of the Southern Ocean has been a huge success with the whalers expected to get less than 25% of their proposed
kill. Sea Shepherd remains the only organisation enforcing international laws against the slaughter of whales in the
Southern Ocean whale sanctaury.
