The Len Brown Stand Down March takes place this Saturday February 22. Marchers assemble at QE2 in Britomart from 11:30, with the march leaving Britomart at 12, travelling up Queen Street to Airedale Street.
A fantastic array of speakers from all across the political spectrum can now be announced:
Affordable Auckland Spokesman Will Ryan will address marchers while still in Britomart from 1145.
Once the march reaches Airedale Street, the line-up will be as follows:
Stephen Berry – Leader of Affordable Auckland and third placing Mayoral candidate in the 2013 elections
Russell Malcolm – Victim of the Pinchgate Affair which resulted in a police order forbidding him from contacting members of the Auckland Council
Penny Bright – Anti-corruption campaigner and fourth placing Mayoral candidate in the 2013 elections
Vinny Eastwood – AKA Mr. News. Vinny fronts for the internationally popular Vinny Eastwood show and heads Guerilla Media
David Thornton – Founder of No More Rates and a Local Board candidate in the 2013 election
Makelesi Ngata – Spokesperson for the Tamaki Housing Group
The Len Brown Stand Down March is bringing Aucklanders of all political hues together in their opposition to the corruption permeating the current Mayoral regime. With opinion polls consistently showing 60-75% of Aucklanders believe Len Brown should resign, this march promises to be very successful.
