Brown Supporters Play Dirty

“As the campaign to make Len Brown resign gets hotter in the lead-up to the Len Brown Stand Down march, tactics employed by Brown supporters to derail the majority expressing their opinion are becoming dirty and underhanded,” says Affordable Auckland Leader Stephen Berry.

Affordable Auckland is one of the organisers of the Len Brown Stand March taking place onSaturday February 22. It leaves Britomart at 12 noon, travelling up Queen Street to Airedale Street.

Bill sticker advertising paid for the group has already been attacked in some locations of the city, demonstrating some Brown supporters have no respect for private property or freedom of speech. “We have been fortunate to attract some significant donations to assist with paying for the promotion of the march, however some the cost is naturally borne by the organisers themselves, out of our own back pockets..”

Mr. Berry also believes his Facebook account has been hacked by a Len Brown supporter. The Affordable City Facebook page (www.facebook.com/affordablecity) carried a comment earlier today, posted by ‘Affordable City’ saying “You are a total f***ing c***.” Berry says, “I am one of only two people who have the ability to post on that page as ‘Affordable City.’ I am truly disturbed at the lengths some people will go to in order to defend our corrupt Mayor.”

Stephen Berry says that all of these dirty tactics are completely in vain and will not deter him in his mission to see Len Brown resign as Mayor of Auckland. “I am now working with other interested parties to ensure that as many of Len Brown’s public appearances as possible feature protest and that the pressure for him to step down will be unrelenting.”
