Three60 Australian Election Special Sunday 8 September, 9am On Tv3
It’s been one of the more bizarre elections of modern times, where the headlines have been dominated more by pratfalls than policy. The Kevin Rudd,/Tony Abbott road show comes to an end this weekend when Australia goes to the polls in the 2013 General Election.
On Sunday 8 September, Three60 will have the results, the reaction, and analysis of what the outcome means for New Zealand in an Australian Election Special hosted by Guyon Espiner.
Joining Guyon in the studio are: keen political observer Paul Henry, whose recent stint with the Australian media gives him a unique perspective on our closest neighbour;  Steve Maharey, Vice-Chancellor of Massey University and former Minister in a New Zealand Labour Government; and Bryce Edwards, Political Lecturer at the University of Otago and media commentator.
Three60 will be crossing LIVE to 3 News Australian Correspondent Rachel Morton who will be with the Abbott Campaign in Sydney, and Amanda Gillies, who will be covering the Rudd Campaign in Brisbane.
3 News Political Editor Patrick Gower will be LIVE from Parliament in Wellington, with his assessment of the election result, and the implications for New Zealand politics and the country’s economy.
