Get involved in Rainbow Youth’s WTF social media competition
Get involved in Rainbow Youth’s new WTF social
media competition!
Rainbow Youth’s fundraising campaign, WTF NZ, is launching a new social media campaign this week, encouraging Rainbow Youth’s supporters to take pictures of themselves and their friends sporting WTF messages in the most creative and witty places they can imagine.
WTF spokesperson, Murray Riches, said “This is a simple campaign idea. The plan is to encourage our WTF followers and champions to take photos of themselves with WTF signs, in the most interesting, clever, or outrageous places they can think of.”
“The participants are then encouraged to post their photo to Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter (or all three!) with the #tag #WTFNZ. The most creative, witty, or unusual photos will be celebrated on the WTF Facebook page, target="_blank">www.facebook.com/WTFNZ, and the winners will receive a WTF related prize.”
Murray said this is a fun way to celebrate our members and raise the visibility of the WTF fundraising campaign on different social media channels.
“Everyone is welcome to join
the competition. All you need to do is visit our website (www.wtfnz.org), or Facebook page to
download the WTF signs, print them off, and your away!”
If you aren’t able to print the signs off, swing by
the Rainbow Youth drop-in centre on K Rd to borrow few
different posters before heading out for a photo shoot in
the city.
WTFNZ - or What The F•CK?! - is a fundraising campaign in support of Rainbow Youth, a youth-based organisation supporting queer and trans* youth and their whānau across Aotearoa. Find out more at wtfnz.org.
