Givealittle the power behind Red Nose Day Fundraising
Givealittle.co.nz is proud to be the power behind the fundraising platform for the 2013 Red Nose Day campaign after implementing an integrated custom platform for Cure Kids.
Givealittle, the zero fees fundraising website proudly owned by the Telecom Foundation, recently worked with Cure Kids to develop a solution that caters to the charitable organisation’s fundraising requirements and also incorporates Givealittle’s zero fees proposition made possible by the Telecom Foundation, meaning 100% of the money fundraised through the custom built platform goes directly to Cure Kids.
This year the Red Nose Day online fundraising platform provides New Zealanders, businesses and schools with dedicated giving pages as well as supporting general donations to the campaign.
In November 2012, the Telecom Foundation acquired Givealittle and turned it into New Zealand’s first and only zero fees fundraising website providing all Kiwis with a simple way to fundraise online for any cause close to your heart.
Givealittle offers custom built fundraising platforms so charities can take advantage of zero fees fundraising hosted on their own website. The Telecom Foundation says fact that 100% of the money gets to the charity via Givealittle is a significant bonus:
Sir Bob Harvey, Chair of the Telecom Foundation says: “We see huge opportunity to grow the contribution that Givealittle can make to charitable cause bottom lines through our zero fees approach and its custom app services. Powering the fundraising for Cure Kids and Red Nose Day is an example of the significant impact Givealittle can have for the charitable organisations it partners with.”
“We feel that Kiwis believe it’s important that 100% of the money raised gets to causes like Red Nose Day. This will enable Cure Kids to continue to do the fantastic work they do researching cures for illnesses that affect Kiwi Kids and we are very pleased to be involved” says Sir Bob.
Aside from Givealittle’s work with Cure Kids, most recently Givealittle and the Telecom Foundation worked together with Lifewise on the Big Sleep Out event to fundraise and create awareness around homelessness.
