Mother-Daughter Team TICK TWO CHALMERS Announced to Stand for Henderson-Massey Local Board
Mother-Daughter team Jesse and Elizabeth Chalmers have announced they will stand for election to the Henderson-Massey local board as TICK TWO CHALMERS.
Jesse and Elizabeth Chalmers are local business owners with strong links to the Henderson-Massey community and who are passionate about making a positive difference in this area. This mother-daughter team bring varied and valuable experience gained as business owners and through a history of working for their local communities and in local government.
Born and raised in West Auckland Jesse Chalmers since 2001 has worked as Director of TONZU, the Chalmers family food manufacturing company. TONZU HQ is based in Henderson, employing local people and distributing their products nationwide. Jesse has maintained her role at TONZU since she was elected to the Waitemata Local Board from 2010-2013. Jesse has now moved back to West Auckland and would like to represent her home in this council role.
Elizabeth is a Director of TONZU and has lived in West Auckland for 45 years. Elizabeth manages the Ranui Community House, where she has created the Teatree Cafe and the weekly Ranui Twilight Market. Elizabeth enjoys encouraging local economic, social and cultural development in these community-focussed roles.
This dynamic and dedicated team are running for the Henderson-Massey local board and ask you to TICK TWO CHALMERS in 2013.
