Libz Back Jamie-Lee Ross Private Members Bill
Libertarianz leader Richard McGrath said his party wholeheartedly supports the Private Member's Bill drafted by National MP Jamie-Lee Ross and is urging other National MPs to support it becoming law.
"This is an opportunity for the National Party to claw back some of the voter confidence it has lost since the last election," he added. "It is a black and white issue of employer freedom versus union thuggery. There will be intense interest in how far the National caucus are willing to support Mr Ross' courageous initiative."
"The Libertarianz Party believes in the freedom of workers to organise themselves into unions, but this should not impinge on the equal right of employers to utilise alternative sources of labour when the unionised workers withdraw their services."
