What Would a Socialist Aotearoa Look Like?

What Would a Socialist Aotearoa Look Like?

Kia ora to all members and supporters of Socialist Aotearoa,

This week's branch meeting will open with a discussion on what a socialist Aotearoa could look like. We already know what it looks like under capitalism. Tens of thousands of children going hungry to school. More than a hundred thousand people jobless. Housing becoming unaffordable for millions. Environmental destruction on a massive scale.

But what would a socialist Aotearoa look like? How would we provide jobs, homes and a clean environment? How would we run our workplaces and communities? What would we do about colonisation? Climate change? How would we deal with crime and punishment? Come along for an introduction to the politics of Socialist Aotearoa.

Socialist Aotearoa branch meeting -- What would a socialist Aotearoa look like?

When: 7.30pm, Thursday 16 May

Where: Unite, 6a Western Springs Road, Kingsland.
