Maori television has copped some flak over their coverage of the celebrations at Waitangi from the likes of Titewhai and
Hone Harawira. They’re both accusing the channel of following mainstream medias focus on just the negative aspects of
the day.
Ngawai Herewini, who has been part of iwi stations coverage of each Waitangi Day gives her view, along with an eye
witness account of the things we never saw or heard at Waitangi.
