Stop work for Hillside this Friday

The Rail, Maritime and Transport Union (RMTU) who represent the workers at Hillside have organised a nationwide stop work for two minutes to mark the closing of Hillside Workshops at 11am this Friday 21 December. See attached poster.

To mark the occasion the Hillside Branch propose to lay wreaths at the War Memorial Plaques at Hillside’s front gate. All are welcome, Meet at 10:45am for an 11am start. I hope you can make it, but if you can’t please stop work for two minutes to commemorate this sombre occasion. The public are asked to bring a cut flower to place alongside the Plaques.
