Street Party Against Privatisation

Published: Fri 2 Nov 2012 03:55 PM
Street Party Against Privatisation: 2pm Saturday 3rd November, K Rd between Pitt & Queen Streets.
Organised by the Auckland Branch of Aotearoa is Not for Sale and Socialist Aotearoa. Even though the government has put its plans to sell on "hold" we are continuing the PEACEFUL fight on the streets, closing off a stretch of K Rd to traffic so we can't party in the street.
We will have bands, DJs, street theatre, a kids' zone with pirates, face painting, jugglers, bubbles, games. There will also be speakers, stalls, two tonnes of snow and all sorts happening! Come along, bring the family and get involved :) Bring a couch, a ball, a paddling pool, the dog and some fun vibes to dance against asset sale
s!
CONFIRMED ACTS: AK Samba, Mice on Stilts, Penny Dreadfuls, New Natives & Kinaki! Also with DJs Tina Turntables, Jafa Mafia, Scalper live, Exile, Locksteady, Issa, Flex, Oogun, Azbo, Kwinton Vybz & Tommy Flowers and many more!
And its all FREE!! See you on the street!!
