Occupy New Zealand is pleased to announce their participation in the GlobalNOISE solidarity day of action against
austerity alongside over 200 cities worldwide, on October 13, 2012.
GlobalNOISE utilises the "pots and pans" methodology behind the successful 2010 Icelandic revolution, and more recently,
the Canadian student movements, to draw attention to the serious issues facing us today, and the urgent need for
profound societal change.
Occupy New Zealand ask all peoples of Aotearoa to occupy any location of their choosing, be it urban or rural,
high-profile or low-profile, or even mobile!
Please capture footage of your occupation on video, cameras, or with your words, and share your work on the Occupy
pages. Become the media!
Occupy New Zealand will be live-tweeting on the Twitter hashtags #O13 #13O & #GlobalNOISE - if you have a Twitter account you can tweet about yours too! Occupy New Zealand’s Twitter network will
carry your messages around the globe.
