Local MPs Sharing A Night With Gifted Kids
Local MP’s and Hutt City Councillors are helping support Gifted Kids by attending the Annual Sharing Night held by
Gifted Kids Hutt class at Naenae Intermediate School.
Trevor Mallard MP (Labour), Catherine Delahunty MP (Green Party) and local Hutt City Councillors Lisa Bridson and
Annette Beattie will all be giving their support and attending the Hutt Gifted Kids Sharing Night as they present
‘System-mania’.
“Sharing nights are organised by our local units to give the students an opportunity to celebrate the diverse learning
they have undertaken this year” says Deb Clark, CEO of Gifted Kids.
“It is great to have the support of government MPs and local councillors coming along to our Hutt Sharing Night event
and taking an interest in our programme” mentions Ms Clark.
During the sharing nights students showcase projects they have been working on that follow the ‘systems’ focus the
curriculum has been centred around this year or their own talent development journeys.
Ms Clark mentions “these Sharing Nights are a great opportunity for our students to show what they are capable of. It is
exciting to have this opportunity to experience their talents with them”.
Gifted Kids Hutt Sharing Night ‘System-mania” will be held at Naenae Intermediate School Hall, Walters Street, Lower
Hutt from 6.30-8.30pm.
