Greencross Is Prepared To Test Cannabis For Use In 'Legal High Market'

Greencross (a support group for medicinal cannabis users) would like to thank and congratulate Peter Dunne on the new drug laws that has been described as 'Revolutionary' by Massey University drug researcher Dr Chris Wilkins.

In the law Mr Dunne aims to have ready by August 2013, legal high manufacturers will need to pay to have their substance proved "low risk". Greencross is already prepared to face these costs and will accept donations to ensure this goal can be reached.

Dunne's office acknowledged it would create a legal drug market.

Quote
"That is the absolute intention behind this regime.

"The problem in the past has been that we had a totally unregulated market with who knows what substances in these products.

"I am quite unapologetic about leading changes that will make things safer for young New Zealanders." - unquote

Papers released by Mr Dunne's office show health officials estimate 10 applications would be made to have substances classified in the first year.

Each application would cost up to $2 million and would include animal testing and human trials to ensure the drugs were low risk.

Greencross, along with the support of some of New Zealand's biggest Cannabis supporters believes the principal behind Dunne's new proposed law (yet to be completed) is an opportunity to organise and support a long overdue accurate scientific and medical report defining and legitimizing the safe medicinal and recreational use of cannabis and hemp products in a fully legal, taxed and regulated industry that would create thousands of jobs, save the courts millions of dollars per year, and end the victimization of new zealanders from what has been a long and unnecessary struggle for so many people some of them unwell.

Controlled tests, observed by GreenCross and available on youtube, using Rick Simpsons cannabis flower oil or whole plant injestion or juicing has seen remarkable results on cancer, tumours and many other serious illnesses with some being healed in a month for a cost of about $3,000 and no side effects. Compared to traditional radiation and chemotherapy with their high costs, side effects and lack of success this is indeed worth investigating further

Kind regards,
Billy Mckee, director for GreenCross
