Human Rights Parade for Justice, Freedom and Equality! Saturday 10th Dec 2011.
OCCUPY OTAUTAHI/CHRISTCHURCH is organising a PARADE on the Global day of action to unite in solidarity with all people at this time, both globally and in Aotearoa/New Zealand, who are struggling for Justice, Freedom and Equality on International Human Rights Day 10th DECEMBER 2011 Meeting at Cramner square at 12.30, the parade will be leaving from there at 1pm going along Montreal street to Worcester st, through Cashel mall and to Occupy Corner for more fun and music.
Bring an instrument! Dress up! Bring your voice! Be yourself! Come along to celebrate and join in solidarity for Global Human Rights!
“This parade is about connecting our struggles globally, it is about growing a movement for a new and more just world, and it is also about celebrating our achievements thus far.” says Community Activist and Event Organiser, Joanna Wildish.
