Odds Tighten on National Government
Another huge surge of money has seen the National Government tighten to an almost unbackable $1.06 hot favourite on Centrebet, just one week out from the NZ Election!
Media chief and political analyst Neil Evans said Labour had drifted from $7.40 to a now despised $8.50 outsider, while National has charged in even shorter from an already heavily backed $1.08!
"The floodgates have opened seven days out from the ballot across smart punters on both sides of the Tasman," Evans said.
"Earlier today we took a bet from an Auckland client of $10,000.00 at $1.08, while another punter had $5,000.00 at the same price! Of the last $50k wagered, the split is 95/5 National's way!"
NZ General Election - Nov 26
$1.06 National (in from $1.08)
$8.50 Labour. (out from $7.40)
