Government’s VIP BMW fleet on sale at Turners
17 ministerial vehicles now up for tender
Those looking for a vehicle with status now have the opportunity to bid on one of the ministerial 2008 BMW 730LDs that are being sold by Turners Auctions.
The vehicles have been used as VIP ministerial vehicles for the past three years and offer passengers exceptional comfort and quality, not to mention increased legroom.
“We are thrilled to be selling these unique vehicles on behalf of the crown. As you would expect, the vehicles have been very well maintained and would make the perfect addition to a limousine and luxury car hire fleet, or a personal car collection,” says Graham Roberts, Chief Executive of Turners Auctions.
The tender for the first 17 vehicles opened yesterday and will run for two weeks, closing on 2 September. Turners will offer the remaining 23 vehicles in subsequent tenders later in the year.
Buyers have until 4pm on the 2 September to submit their best offer on the first 17 vehicles up for tender, and can view a selection of the vehicles at Turners’ Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch branches, or the entire catalogue online, along with the tender document, at turners.co.nz.
