Sea Shepherd’s Steve Irwin Comes to New Zealand’s Capital
WHAT: Join Sea Shepherd Conservation Society founder Captain Paul Watson and his international crew from the Steve Irwin for a brief stop in Wellington before they join the rest of their fleet and continue their mission to protect and save
whales from illegal poachers in the Southern Ocean Whale Sanctuary. Sea Shepherd will discuss the superfast Gojira and its role in the upcoming 2010-11 Antarctic Whale Defense Campaign, Operation No Compromise to be featured in the
fourth season of Animal Planet’s hit television series Whale Wars.
Meet the crew, donate, shop for new Sea Shepherd merchandise for the holidays, take a tour of the ship, and show your
support for Sea Shepherd’s numerous oceanic defense campaigns! This is a unique opportunity to see Neptune’s Navy flagship vessel before it engages in action on the high seas.
