The Nation… Off Air
TVNZ has put out a press release today noting that we are off air. They are correct. Our contract with NZonAir and TV3 was to produce 36 programmes which we completed on Saturday November 20 with the Pike River Special.
That wasn't the way we intended to end. We had in fact prepared a special on the Trans Pacific Partnership which included a compelling backgrounder on the TPP that Duncan prepared while he was at APEC in Yokohama.
You can see it on our website: http://www.3news.co.nz/Duncan-Garner-at-APEC/tabid/1348/articleID/187582/Default.aspx
Whether we return next year is now in the hands of NZonAir who will make a decision on further funding for both us and Q at their December meeting.
The Nation is produced by Front Page Ltd for TV3 and NZ on Air.
