ProLife NZ President Steps Down

ProLife NZ President Steps Down

ProLife NZ President Andy Moore has resigned as President of student-based pro-life group, ProLife NZ.

"During my time as president, the group has grown in membership, and most importantly has served as a voice for the voiceless," says Mr Moore. "I believe that my time as President should now come to an end, opening up the opportunity of leadership to new young pro-life leaders."

Mr. Moore has presided over the past two years, and will now step down to diversify in the Pro-Life movement. He is leaving the presidency of the group which now has a well-established national body and two university clubs in Auckland and Christchurch.

"We started with nothing. What we have created is an opportunity for young New Zealanders to be part of a unique and powerful voice for the pre-born. I am stepping down from presidency with the group in a very strong position and I will continue to support the organisation as it grows and spreads this crucial pro-life message".

ProLife NZ appreciates the leadership Andy has given and looks forward to his continued work in the Pro-life movement in New Zealand

A new president will be elected in the coming weeks, with vice-president Sargia Harrison serving as the acting President in the interim.
