Greens co-leader Metiria Turei, Maori Party co-leader Dr Pita Sharples, United Future leader Peter Dunne and ACT finance spokesman Sir Roger Douglas all join us in the studio to talk about the Budget that will define the Key government’s first term. What do they want and expect to see on Thursday?
Also on the programme, Paul Holmes crosses live to Wellington Hospital’s Accident and Emergency Dept. and talks to Dr Paul Quigley – Capital & Coast DHB’s emergency medicine specialist. Dr Quigley will describe the damage alcohol does on a typical Saturday night and discuss what action he would like to see from our political leaders about it.
Joining Paul and Dr Jon Johansson on our panel of experts is Productivity Commissioner Dr Don Brash and President of the Combined Trade Unions Helen Kelly.
