Parties in cyberspace: how to join an eco twitter party

There’s a new sort of party happening around the world but no carbon miles are needed to get there. Yes, Twitter Parties are the latest way to talk to people en masse about a particular subject and local business ecostore is getting involved.

The Twitter Party is being hosted by founder of ecostore Malcolm Rands, also known as Eco Man, and will be happening this Thursday, October 01 at 3pm. The ‘party’ conducted in cyber space, will last for one hour only and will involve more than 20,000 people!

Coming live from eco-friendly website 3 Green Angels, the USA site has a regular slot called ecoWed, referring to the weekly Twitter Parties held on a Wednesday night (EST) and hosted by various environmentally aware companies or service providers.

Ecostore sees this as an opportunity to talk to its new customers in the United States, where it has established itself as a retailer of sustainable, healthier alternatives to conventional everyday household and personal care products.

Founder Malcolm Rands is looking forward to chatting online to thousands of people throughout the United States but also wants to get their kiwi supporters adding to the party chat. “This is a great opportunity to do some serious tweeting about what ecostore is about and pass on some Eco Man tips about sustainable living.”

Rands is looking forward to some challenging questions coming his way too – and sticking to the Twitter rules and replying in less than 140 characters or less! Now that the company has expanded into USA, Australia, and some parts of Asia and the UK, Twitter Parties are a novel marketing tool to get the message out there and the ultimate form of social networking.
