Justice releases civil justice system report
The Ministry of Justice today released its first periodic report on progress towards the justice sector’s civil and democratic outcomes.
The report presents baseline information and indicators for each of the justice sector’s civil and democratic outcomes:
effective
constitutional arrangements
accessible justice services
trusted justice system
durable settlement of Treaty
claims
internationally connected.
The report is a companion to the first periodic criminal justice sector outcomes report released last year, presenting similar information for each of the criminal justice sector’s outcomes.
The two outcomes reports will be updated every three years and together provide benchmarks to enable the justice sector to assess progress against outcomes over the long term.
