The people's court versus Paula Bennett

"To: Paula Bennett
You are ordered to attend a hearing of the people's court to defend your actions in cutting the Training Incentive Allowance and revealing the personal information of the beneficiaries who you are mandated to represent.
The hearing is at 1pm on 8 August 2009
The hearing is at 429 Great North Road, Henderson"
Witnesses from the disabled community, the student movement, local community organisations and trade unions will take the stand today at 1pm at the People's Court, outside Paula Bennett's Office in Henderson, to testify against the cuts she has implemented in the Training Incentive Allowance.
Last week, a summons was nailed on her office door, asking her to bring evidence as to how these cuts would help her constituents and those most vulnerable in society.  If she is indeed a down to earth, friendly Westy Battler, she can now meet face to face with these people on her doorstep today at 1pm.
Judge Dread, resplendent in robes and wig, will be presiding.  Witnesses from the different vulnerable groups affected will be called to the podium.  Miss Bennett will then be called up to the stand and is promised a fair hearing.  If she does not show, sentence will be passed in her absence and a warrant issued.
