Night Classes and Tertiary Education.

Press Release.

Night Classes and Tertiary Education.

The Government is considering pulling the mat from under Grand Parents who are endeavouring to raise Grandchildren.

Many of these people are already struggling to raise these children on their Superannuation pay packet, with practically no help from the government, and now they are threatened with the plug being pulled on many night classes which simply help to keep them going, both physically and mentally.

The Tertiary Education that enables them to keep up with the children of this current generation is also under threat.

Those of us who are grandparents all realise how difficult a job this must be for our Grand Parents Raising Grandchildren, why can’t the Government see it?

Have they also forgotten that New Zealand is a signatory to UNESCO to provide ‘lifelong learning’ for all?
