Press Release - Wood Applauds Green's Bravery

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Leading Mount Albert candidate Jackson James Wood today endorsed the formal complaint laid by ALCP candidate Dakta Green into TVNZ's exclusion of the minor parties from the Backbenches TV special.

"The Mainstream Media has been ignoring my campaign without fail, and this passing over of both myself and Mr. Green has only served to drag TVNZ further into disrepute."

"In an election this closely fought, the votes of the twelve people who watch Backbenches could be decisive, not to mention that of my friend Jonathan who is, as far as I am aware, the only person who actually uses TVNZ on demand."

Wood then went on to suggest that next weeks Backbenches show—held in Wellington at The Backbencher—might be the ideal place for a debate between the minor candidates, as his chances for picking up support were immaterial of the election date.

Note: TVNZ were actually really nice to us and are good guys. Please take this in the spirit it is intended!
