Auckland Supercity Hikoi On Maori Television Current Affairs Show
Maori Television’s current affairs programme NATIVE AFFAIRS (Monday May 25 at 8.00 PM) will this Monday devote its schedule to the issues surrounding the Auckland supercity, and the hikoi.
The programme will feature coverage from on the road, as a team of reporters leg it from the four corners of the hikoi, to the north, south, east and west of the city. Four Auckland mayors will talk to Makere Edwards about their views on Maori representation.
A live studio audience will also take part and interact in panel discussions with Rodney Hide and Hone Harawira, on the Government’s direction on Super City Auckland, and possible resolutions for the issues, with the four mayors.
For in-depth analysis and debate on a key issue for the Auckland region, tune in to Maori Television on Monday May 25 at 8.00 PM.
