Mike and Colleen White, the parents of Murray White, have asked Air New Zealand to issue the following statement on
their behalf:
Murray is the father of an eight year old son and in a family partnership which had been planning to move into a new
home in the next three weeks. He enjoyed family pursuits and outdoor activities including windsurfing and blow-carting.
Murray had followed in his father's footsteps by joining Air New Zealand as an Aircraft Engineering apprentice 19 years
ago. He was recently promoted to his current role within the airline leading to his being in Perpignan
The family wishes to acknowledge the support that their family, friends and Air New Zealand have provided during this
difficult time.
