Wong Wrong Again

ACT Botany Candidate Kenneth Wang is questioning his National opponent's integrity after two "mistakes" in the last week.
In response to the Electoral Commissions ruling on the "Wang + Wong" billboard, Pansy Wong has declined to make a public response on the basis she is expecting a second ruling from the Chief Electoral Office.
However, the Chief Electoral Office has already ruled on the matter and stated "there is no question regarding a breach of the 'candidate advertising' rules. We won't take the matter any further."
"It is disappointing that this issue has created such a distraction for Botany voters in a time when we need to be focusing on the local issues of crime and the economy," said Mr Wang
Her second serious "mistake" in a recent mail-out to Botany residents falsely stated "I am the only Candidate in the Botany electorate who has experience as an MP."
Kenneth Wang replaced Donna Awatere Huata as a Member of Parliament in 2004.
"My opponent is either deliberately lying in her letter, or she wasn't paying attention to what was going on around her," said Mr Wang. "Neither explanation reflects well on her."
"I welcome the focus on candidates' experience," said Mr Wang. "Unlike myself, my opponent has not authored a single parliamentary bill in her past ten years of service, so I am more than happy to compare my achievements in parliament to hers."
