The Post Mortem of the 15-year-old girl whose body was found in Kerikeri on Sunday evening was completed last night.
The results indicate that her death was not accidental and Police will not be making any further comment on the results.
Police are still appealing for any witnesses who may have noticed this girl in the Inlet Road/Cobham Road/Hone Heke Road area during Saturday afternoon/evening 1 November 2008 to come forward
The girl is described as a 15 year old European, medium build, with copper coloured hair and blue eyes. She was wearing black jeans and a sparkly black coloured jersey. She may have been carrying a large bottle of Coca-Cola.
Anybody who may have seen this girl is urged to call 0800 COBHAM.
The police investigation continues today with further work being conducted on the scene examination and a large number of people being spoken to.
