Papali’itele Titiuatoa Malietoa Tanumafili II

Endorsement on Family Party Mangere campaign

The Family Party is honoured to have received the endorsement of Papali'itele Titiuatoa Malietoa for the 2008 General Election.

Papali'i Titiuatoa Malietoa resides in Mangere and is the son of the late Royal Highness Susuga Malietoa Tanumafili the second, Head of State of Samoa.  They have held the Head of State position since the nation gained independence in 1962 up to 2007, a significant total of 45 years.

Earlier this year, Family Party Mangere candidate Jerry Filipaina was bestowed the prestigious title of ‘Galumalemana’ from the Malietoa family.

“We are excited and honoured to have this prestigious endorsement on our Mangere candidate and our efforts to make a real difference for South Auckland families. I know Mr Filipaina is particularly moved to have received such a revered title and he’s most certainly doing the work to honour it,” says party leader Richard Lewis.
