Clark in denial again

Release. Clark in denial again.
Prime Minister Helen Clark says she does not believe there is a looming "power crisis" in New Zealand and has blamed opposition MPs for sensationalising the issue.
Is there a power crisis in New Zealand asks Republican Leader Kerry Bevin?
Nothing like being in denial, when even your own troops think John Key will be the next prime minister, he adds.
When it comes to our real power crisis it should be remembered that the electricity industry raised many of the current issues in 2005, however these were unfortunately overlooked when the election campaign became a tax payer funded spoof called Godmother staring Don Don and Don Helen.
“The New Zealand Electricity industry has run for many years under Crisis Management, only repairing what is broken when it breaks. It has suffered from a lack of infrastructure investment which in turn has discouraged training and employment in the industry,” says Mr Bevin.
These are the issues we should be seeing debated at election time and not just being dismissed because it suits a failing prime minister.
Republicans will be watching this issue closely, because we can clearly see that once again industry leaders are being treated with contempt by this government.
