Press Release
For immediate release.
Coalition Liabilities.
Labour, National, The Green Party, The Maori Party, and ACT have paid the full amounts identified by the Controller and Auditor-General as being outside the scope of appropriation after the 2005 general election.
This Labour led Government has two Coalition Partners, whose leaders are both ministers of the crown, who have not repaid the amounts identified.
While Mr Peters has recently announced that NZ First would pay in full within three weeks, have we seen an undertaking from Mr Dunne as to when United Future will repay their outstanding $33,000 plus gst.
Did Mr Dunne just retain his revenue portfolio in the latest cabinet portfolio shuffle?
“This was a blatant and flagrant breach of our electoral law. In spite of retrospective legislation we still do not have a conclusion to this sad and sorry saga,” says Republicans constitution spokesman Wayne Hawkins.
