How Do Politicians Judge Faith?

NZ First Deputy Leader Peter Brown must be basking in the glow of his self-appointed “messianic” leader Winston Peters, such is the nature of Mr Browns assertion that Christian hunger-striker Ali Reza Panah is faking his faith.

Unless Mr Brown has the spiritual discernment of Christ himself, how in the world would he know one way or the other as to whether Ali Reza Panahs conversion from Islam to Christianity is genuine or not?

I dare Mr Brown (in fact any politician) to publically state that anyone who converts to Islam is “faking it’ – however, I am sure that Mr Brown is aware that doing so might result in some pretty immoderate consequences.

It is a sad say when new Zealands leadership champions the slow suicide of a vulnerable individual, but hey - we kill over 18,000 babies each year via abortion, so I guess that the life of one innocent immigrant (particularly a "Christian" one) is neither here nor there?
