Next Step in Electorate Boundary Setting Process
The 2007 Representation Commission has received 114 counter-objections to the proposed new electorate boundaries.
A summary of the counter objections is available from www.elections.org.nz.
The Representation Commission will hear from people wanting to talk to their objections and counter objections between 16 and 27 July.
The Commission will meet for hearings in:
* Auckland
* Hamilton
* Gisborne
* Wellington
* Nelson
* Christchurch
* Timaru.
