No To Clark’s Guile Against Fiji!

No To Clark’s Guile Against Fiji!

By Libertarian Independent Tim Wikiriwhi.

Upon hearing Helen Clark was considering imposing greater sanctions against Fiji, Libertarian Independent candidate for Hamilton Mayor Tim Wikiriwhi called such a move the equivalent of imposing sanctions against Nelson Mandela and that the Prime minister is abusing her position out of personal guile.

Mr Wikiriwhi say’s it is not in the best interests of Fiji or New Zealand to impose any sanctions against Bainimarama and they would only help the worst racist elements in their resistance to change.

“Here we have a Hero of the People of Fiji, A Man who has set about ending racial unrest and corruption yet instead of using her position to encourage Fiji’s transition to constitutional equality our Prime minister has taken the side of racism and is making recovery as difficult as possible.”

He said Clark’s recent criticism of Bainimarama’s timeframe for fresh elections was pure malice, and her own timeframe was absurd.

“The people of Fiji must first come to terms with the shift from a corrupt race based electoral system to living in equality under Bainimarama’s protection.

He must have the time to rally and prepare a multi-ethnic corps of parliamentary candidates who are popular with the people and willing to swear to uphold constitutional equality before legitimate democratic elections can be held. Helen Cark knows that the more time Bainimarama has the more chance he will succeed. She is doing everything she can to keep Fiji from breaking free of indigenous racism and Bainimarama receiving the glory he deserves. She is actively provoking the International community to squeeze Fiji and make them hurt via sanctions to force Bainimarama into holding elections prematurely and effectively thwarting his plans to clean out racist power. In my view Helen Clark is the bitter enemy of justice in Fiji.”

Many Fijian Indians now live Hamilton having abandoned their Fijian homes due to indigenous racism, political corruption, and violence and now contribute to making Hamilton and interesting and prosperous city.

Mr. Wikiriwhi said he wanted to speak out against Helen Clark imposing sanctions for the sake of their kin still living there, and for the sake of justice for all.
