Is There Hope for Men in a De-Masculinised World?
A pioneer in the Christian Men's Movement, Gordon Dalbey truly understands the struggles men have to find identity and
purpose, in a world where masculinity is almost a dirty word. And he's coming to New Zealand to talk to men about how
they can be restored to real Manhood.
In 1988, Gordon Dalbey's first book Healing the Masculine Soul broke the ground by calling men to a new level of
strength--neither the traditional violent, loner male nor the "counterculture" peace-and-love male.
Endorsed by the internationally renowned author and speaker, John Eldridge as a big inspiration for his work on Wild at
Heart, Dalbey's unique focus has stirred men of all ages, races, and position.
His 1991 Focus on the Family radio interviews were so popular amongst listeners, it is still in top 10% of the show's 30
year history, and were re-broadcast in 1998, 2003 & more recently, this year as "classics."
And Gordon's articles have appeared in a wide variety of magazines and newspapers, including New Man, Focus on the
Family, Leadership, The Priest, Los Angeles Times, Single Parent Family, and Reader's Digest.
With the huge numbers of men that are seeking identity, purpose and a better way of parenting, Focus on the Family are
excited to be bringing Gordon Dalbey to Auckland for one night only, to present the revolutionary seminar - Healing the
Masculine Soul.
The free event is happening on Wednesday July 4th at Greenlane Christian Centre, hosted by Focus on the Family NZ.
