EPMU/Air Nelson decision reserved
The decision over the Engineering, Printing and Manufacturing Union’s case for an injunction preventing Air Nelson from using allegedly illegal strike-breakers has been reserved.
The hearing for the case was held yesterday and the Authority has indicated a decision will be made by Friday or Tuesday.
The EPMU claims Air Nelson has been using illegal strike-breaking labour during the current industrial dispute over pay.
Air Nelson is wholly owned by Air New Zealand and is the national carrier’s largest Link provider, offering air connection between most of New Zealand’s regional centres and main cities.
